Pakistan seeks cooperation with Azerbaijan in marine forces

Pakistan stands for broadening cooperation with Azerbaijan in marine forces.
The statement came from chief of Pakistani marine forces Asim Samdani, while welcoming the Azerbaijani envoy in Islamabad Dashgin Shikarov.
According to sources in the Azerbaijani embassy, at the meeting Samdani reminded about participation of Azerbaijani observers in international exercise held in Karachi this year.

Shikarov in turn thanked the Pakistani side for organization of the due educational facilities of the country of the skills raising courses for Azerbaijani officers.

Additionally, during the meeting the sides praised cooperation and mutual support of the two countries within the framework of international organizations, including on Karabakh and Cashmere problems, as well as during the recent election of Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the UN Security Council.
