Press release on the recent situation in Kashmir

We are concerned over the reports on the recent violence erupted in Kashmir. We regard the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute as indispensable for peace and security in the region.

The Republic of Azerbaijan supports all efforts aimed at ending the violence as well as to ensure peace, stability and prosperity in the region, in accordance with the norms and principles of international law and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
