Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ali Alizada had a meeting with Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan, admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that the support both countries have always provided one another was highly appreciated. The importance of prompt settlement of the conflicts – Armenia - Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh and Kashmir based on the requirements of International Law and United Nations Security Council resolutions was also noted in the meeting. Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan, admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi expressed the willingness of Naval Forces of Pakistan to provide all means of support for the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan.

Exchange of views over the continuation of cordial friendship and strategic partnership ties and cooperation in military-technical field, as well as regular participation in training courses, exchange of experience and realization of the visits was conducted at the meeting.
