President of Pakistan received Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan

Ambassador Ali Alizada expressed his gratitude for receiving him and conveyed greetings and invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the President Dr. Arif Alvi. Noting that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan attaches special importance to the relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, Ambassador highlighted special contribution made by close cooperation and friendship of the leaders and peoples of both countries in the deepening and improvement of bilateral relations. While giving information about new proposals and intentions, as well as implemented projects with regard to the cooperation in political, economic, trade, military, military-technical, defense, cultural, scientific, tourism, starting of direct flights, humanitarian and social spheres, Ambassador Ali Alizada also conveyed gratitude of the leadership of Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi for his personal participation in the event and iftar dinner organized for special children by Heydar Aliyev Foundation. He said that Azerbaijan has always supported Pakistan as a fraternal country, expressed  his confidence that Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations will further imrpove in future and thanked for the sincere meeting.

Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan requested to convey his greetings and gratitude for the invitation to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and stressed that both fraternal countries stand side by side in international and regional issues and Azerbaijan's support has always been appreciated. President Arif Alvi stressed the need to resolve Kashmir and Nagorno-Karabakh issues on the basis of UN Security Council resolutions and noted that Pakistan's strategic partnership with Azerbaijan will continue. President of Pakistan expressed high appreciation in regard with the humanitarian and socially-oriented projects implemented in Pakistan by Heydar Aliyev Foundation led by First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva and said that the event, which took place in the month of Ramadan, as a humanistic step also emphasized the importance of drawing attention to special children, promoting their abilities to the public. President of Pakistan highlighted  the current high-level of inter-state relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as the fraternal bonds between the two peoples, and stressing the necessity of further development and deepening of these relations in all spheres, he noted that constant support in this regard will be provided.
