Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizade met with the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan Armed Forces General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.

Report was told in the embassy, the sides expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the military and military-technical spheres, as well as the interaction with the high-level delegation on remarkable days.

They also talked about the efforts of Pakistan and Azerbaijan in ensuring peace and stability in the region, the aggressive policy of Armenia against Azerbaijan, the occasional provocation by the invading country, and the need to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh and Kashmir issues based on the UN resolutions. The sides also talked about exchange of experience, continuation of joint trainings and mutual visits.

Zubair Mahmood Hayat said that relations between the two countries are exemplary, Pakistan pays special attention to relations with Azerbaijan and Pakistan always supports Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict issue.
