Online internship program "Contemporary Dynamics of Azerbaijan" has been launched in Pakistan.

The online internship program, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan and dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence will last for 2 months, for selected 30 participants among young Pakistani researchers. The online internship program, which will run during August and September, will include lectures by Azerbaijani and Pakistani scholars, diplomats, military and civil experts, as well as presentations about Azerbaijan on the topics of interest for the participants, answers to their questions and the publication of various articles about Azerbaijan in the local press. The internship program will allow the participants to get a broad idea about Azerbaijan and receive information about the realities of Azerbaijan directly from the experts.

On the first day of the internship program, which started on the 4th of August, a lecture on the theme of "Azerbaijan after the restoration of its independence. Azerbaijan-Pakistan friendship and strategic partnership" was delivered to the participants by Ali Alizada, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.  Ambassador Ali Alizada spoke about the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence in 1991, the preservation of this independence as a result of the wise policy of national leader Heydar Aliyev, beginning the path of great development of Azerbaijan with the coming of the national leader to power and the successful socio-economic development of  our country, as well as about the resolute overcoming difficulties, achievements and successes. Informing the participants about the recent provocations and attacks of Armenia at the border with Azerbaijan, the Ambassador said that Azerbaijan has always faced Armenian aggression, but never bowed down and continued to fight for the right. He said that our country, which has a strong army and economy, is able to liberate the occupied lands at any time. Speaking about Azerbaijan's growing image in the international arena, Ambassador Ali Alizada said that Azerbaijan-Pakistan friendship and strategic partnership is an obvious example of this, and expressed his confidence that this close cooperation, achieved through the efforts of the leadership and peoples of both countries, will be further strengthened. Moreover, he informed the participants about Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations, including joint projects in social, economic, military, defense, energy, tourism and other fields, and answered questions of the program’s participants

The internship program, which will end in late September, will cover the themes related to Azerbaijan's history, culture, education and science, foreign policy, economy, defense and military potential, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Armenia's aggressive policy against our country. It will also include the study of prospects for further strengthening bilateral relations, common ties and attachments with Pakistan. Certificates will be presented to the young researchers who will successfully complete the program and they will be involved  to the number of future projects.
