Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Ali Alizada met with the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Sohail Aman.

The continuation and perspectives of the cooperation between the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as implementation of participation in the exhibitions conducted in both countries, exchange of experiences, organization of reciprocal visits were discussed in the meeting. Ambassador Ali Alizada informed about the last provocations of Armenia, as well as about atrocities conducted by the armenian military units in the occupied historical territory of Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas. It was also expressed that the state and the people of Azerbaijan always highly evaluated the support of Pakistan to Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Sohail Aman noted that Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan and Pakistan always supports Azerbaijan. Air Chief Marshal informed about new production capabilities in Pakistan defense production plants and expressed also possibilities of cooperation of Pakistan Air Forces with Azerbaijan in this field.
